Bled – Slovenia in All Its Beauty
From Karavanke Holiday Getaway, head to Bled, where you’ll be captivated by the iconic lake, the medieval castle on a cliff, and the island with a church. Bled is undoubtedly one of the most recognizable destinations in Slovenia, known for its unique island in the lake. You can take a leisurely walk around the lake, enjoy a traditional pletna boat ride to the island, or simply relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. Don't forget to try a slice of the famous Bled cream cake, a true culinary symbol of the area.
Blejski Vintgar – A Paradise for Nature Lovers
Just a short drive from Bled, you'll find Blejski Vintgar, a gorge that is one of Slovenia’s most visited natural wonders. The gorge, through which the emerald Radovna river flows, offers beautiful walking paths that lead you past waterfalls, rapids, and natural stone bridges. The trail is suitable for all ages, as it follows wooden walkways and paths that allow visitors to enjoy a memorable walk through this natural beauty.
Maloaand Velika Osojnica – Views that Take Your Breath Away
After visiting Blejski Vintgar, head towards Malo and Veliko Osojnice, two fantastic viewpoints above Lake Bled. The trail, which is a bit more challenging, will lead you to some of the most beautiful views of the lake, Bled Castle, and the surrounding mountains. Once at the top, you’ll be rewarded with panoramic views that will allow you to enjoy one of the most picturesque vistas of Bled and its surroundings. If you’re a nature lover and enjoy hiking, these views will certainly impress you.
Lake Bohinj – The Hidden Gem of the Julian Alps
After Osojnice, continue to Lake Bohinj, the largest natural lake in Slovenia, surrounded by the majestic Julian Alps. Bohinj is a peaceful and unspoiled lake, perfect for walking along its shore, cycling, or simply enjoying the tranquility. At the lake, you can also visit Savica Waterfall, one of Slovenia’s most famous waterfalls. The waterfall is 78 meters high, and visitors can reach it via a 20-minute hike. The sound of the water and the spectacular views of the waterfall will surely stay in your memory.

For winter sports enthusiasts, Vogel Ski Resort is a true paradise. Located on the southern slopes of Triglav National Park, it offers beautiful ski slopes and incredible views of Lake Bohinj and the Julian Alps.
